In-Command Seamanship Training
Northeast Maritime Institute has signed an Associate School Agreement with In-Command Seamanship Training (ICST) in Wickford, Rhode Island to provide professional maritime training courses in Rhode Island. ICST will also be delivering U.S. Powerboating and Boat U.S. On-Water Training programs for recreational boaters at the Northeast Maritime Institute’s Marina at Slocum Cove in Fairhaven, Massachusetts!
MassCEC Training Program
This training program is in partnership with the Gloucester Fishermen’s Wives Development Program (GFWDP). Funded by the MassCEC 2020 Offshore Wind Workforce Training and Development Program, the training provides Massachusetts commercial fishermen with the qualifications to obtain their Master 100GRT license and Able Bodied Seaman endorsement.
Tonga Training Courses
This program is specifically designed for Tongan seafarers to receive a Certificate of Training through Northeast Maritime Institute’s comprehensive maritime learning management system, Northeast Maritime Online (NEMO°).
